For five years I’ve been pushing my country fiddle show on audiences in Argentina. And now – for the first time in all that time – I will be able to play it for my peeps back in Texas. For most friends and family it will be the first time they have heard me sing since the Hill Country Middle School Battle of the Bands (which we did not win😔). This new project is way better.

We have lots of great shows (GivingTuesday PopUp Party 11/27, Festival of Texas Fiddling 12/1, Brandon Janes: Bluegrass at the Buzz Mill 12/8… y más!) but this Friday 11/30 show I expect to be a particularly special musical homecoming. I will be accompanied by my Argentine guitar player, Juan L. Angelo, and two friends with whom I started playing guitar and singing 23 years ago! Virtuosos in their own rights, Andrew Baird and Jimmie Graves.
We could not have booked a better venue for such a Texas music reunion. No Austin bar that I know has preserved the shady, old-Austin honky tonk vibe (complete w/ wooden dance floor) like Sam’s Town Point.
So come on out ya’ll! Plenty of parking.
